Wild Flower Plants

It is important to remember that it would be very wise to consult a qualified herbalist before using any plant medicinally. Some plants can be used very safely and we, ourselves, use them regularly but others can interfere with prescription medicines or be harmful in large doses so please take care.  You can, of course, just enjoy wildflowers for what they are. Beautiful plants of our countryside which are becoming increasingly rare as each year passes. They are all so important for wildlife, pollinators and just general biodiversity, in addition to adding joy to our lives.  Add them to a wildflower meadow, a no mow area of your lawn or just enjoy them in your garden borders.  N.B. Please check that any wildflower you may purchase elsewhere has been grown ethically and raised from indigenous seed.  Plants from abroad may be just that little bit different and can interfere with our natural, British plants.
